Booming interest in Vietnam hospitality market at HICAP 2019

Indochina Capital’s COO Michael Piro and Deputy COO Maxwell Ryder attended the 30th Hotel Investment Conference Asia Pacific (HICAP), a gathering place for Asia Pacific’s hotel investment community.

Demand from hospitality professionals were robust and filled up seats at this year’s HICAP – more than 25 per cent of delegates were CEOs, owners and presidents, while one in five were in capital market or development firms – negotiations and deals were being orchestrated throughout the 3 days of the event.

On the agenda this year, amongst many other intriguing panel sessions, is a discussion centered around branded property. As a panel speaker at this session, Michael Piro promoted Vietnam to the 550 delegates from 28 countries, raising interest from all attendees about the potential in Vietnam’s hospitality real estate.
