The 6th hotel in the Wink Hotels chain breaks ground in Hai Phong
On August 18th, 2022, Indochina Kajima Development Limited (Indochina Kajima), a joint venture between Indochina Capital, a leading real estate developer in Vietnam, and Kajima Corporation, one of Japan’s largest general contractors and overseas real estate developers, held a groundbreaking ceremony for Wink Hotel Hai Phong Centre @ 135 Dien Bien Phu.
Situated in a prime location in Hai Phong’s central business district along Dien Bien Phu Street, Wink Hotel Hai Phong Centre will appeal to young-at-heart business and leisure travelers. It has excellent access to local government offices, Cat Bi International Airport, Dinh Vu Port, surrounding economic zones as well as to Hai Phong’s F&B, retail and entertainment attractions.
Wink Hotel Hai Phong Centre comprises of 203 Wink hotel rooms and 77 Wink suites (serviced apartments) within a stunningly designed 22-story tower of approximately 16,000 m2. Following the sustainable, modern design of the Wink Hotels brand, Wink Hotel Hai Phong Centre will include an interactive lobby including a Wink Space, Wink Bar, and a Grab & Go area on the 1st floor, a co-working space on the 2nd floor, a gym and laundromat on the 3rd floor, and swimming pool and roof top bar on the 22nd floor. Hotel room floors are located from level 4 to 20 with a total of 280 hotel rooms and serviced apartments.

Mr. Keisuke Koshijima, Representative Director and Executive Vice President of Kajima Corporation, shared his opinions on the potential of Hai Phong’s hospitality market: “Hai Phong has many favorable conditions for tourism development. It is one of the few localities across the country where all five types of transportation, sea, river, road, railway and air routes efficiently converge. Besides its strengths in culture and history, Hai Phong has a great advantage in sea and island tourism. However, the city still lacks high-class accommodation facilities to meet the higher expectations of business travelers and tourists. When completed, Wink Hotel Hai Phong Centre will contribute to elevating the quality of hospitality and tourism in the city”.
With its long-term vission and unwavering commitment to investing in Vietnam’s hospitality market, Indochina Kajima has announced a pipeline of 20 hotels to open within the next five to seven years. Wink Hotel Saigon Centre opened in 2021, two Wink Hotels in Da Nang are about to complete construction and start operation in Q4 2022 and Q2 2023 respectively. In tandem, construction of Wink Hotel Can Tho and Wink Hotel Tuy Hoa is well progressing, targeting to commence operations in Q1 2024. After Wink Hotel Hai Phong Centre officially breaks ground, Hanoi, Binh Duong and Vung Tau will be the next destinations for Wink developments, followed by second properties in both Hanoi and HCM City.
